For Re-Modelers:
To insure a solid bid for the project without any hidden costs or surprises. If you have a
thermal image done in the area you intend to remodel you will know ahead of time what will be involved in your bid for the job. Whether you will need a plumber or an electrician.

Home owners will be more likely to except you bid because they can rest easy knowing you know what’s ahead of you without additional costs and delays to the project. You can add in any other contractors in your bid knowing what is hidden in the walls. Weather it is a structural problem, an electrical, plumbing, or mechanical problem. This system takes away all the guess work.

Home owners want a bid that will not spiral out of control due to hidden items and hidden costs. The re-modeler really has no idea what is in store for them when opening a wall to add on to a home. Or adding a window or putting in a new door on what should be a blank wall. The  other side of the service is to be able to inspect a home in its entirety so the re-modeler can show the home owner other deficiencies.

This system can disclose a multitude  of different things. For instance: cold spots around windows, doors, outlets and switches, corners on exterior walls, areas around the home with inadequate  insulation. It can show insect damage inside walls, It can show moisture anywhere in the home. It can show electrical problems whether it be outlets and switches that are hot, or breakers in the electrical panel that are hot and over loaded. Heavy electrical loads on small wiring. This of course will present for the re-modeler an increased chance for a larger contract, taking in more of the home than just the addition or a new window or door. With this system you can put the home owners mind at ease knowing when you’re done everything is complete and the project won’t grow to be a money pit.

For Home Owners:
In this time of high fuel costs and high utility bills it would work in you favor to have a thermal inspection of your home to find out what you can do to help reduce the cost of heating or cooling your home. The thermal imaging system we use can detect anything that is of concern to a home owner. It can disclose those hidden items, confirm your suspicions of defects and show potential hazards to you home whether it be structural or mechanical.

In years past there were no requirements for inspections to home built in the unincorporated areas or in the counties surrounding a municipality. So there is the potential to find deficiencies that is costing you the home owner more than it should to keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

The thermal imaging system is a non-destructive way to inspect your home and can disclose a multitude of different things. For instance: cold spots around windows, doors, outlets and switches, corners on exterior walls and ceilings, areas around the home with inadequate insulation. It can show insect damage inside walls, It can show moisture anywhere in the home. It can show electrical problems whether it be outlets and switches that are hot, or breakers in the electrical panel that are hot and over loaded. Heavy electrical loads on small wiring. All of which can add to the cost of running your home. Or cause significant damage due to fire. This evaluation of your home will enable you to set a plan of action into motion to correct any deficiencies found.

When interviewing potential contractors whether it be an electrician, a plumber or a general contractor you will have at your disposal the thermal images to show the areas of concern. Also in your contract negotiation you can request the contractor must have the thermal inspection done to insure he and his crew did as they contracted to do. This will ensure quality work and no headaches or call backs.
